Ear Problems in Dogs - The ear consists of three parts, any of which can become a problem to the dog. There is the outer ear (the ear flap), the middle ear which contains bones that transmit vibrations to the inner ear, and the inner ear which contains the ear drum.

This section describes the some of the more common canine health problems, infections and conditions that can affect a dogs ear including deafness, ear mites, otitis and torn ear flaps.
